CM Revanth Reddy orders urgent aid for Hyderabad dog attack victim

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Wednesday directed officials to provide urgent medical care and financial support to a disabled child. The child was seriously injured in a stray dog attack in Hyderabad’s Hayathnagar area.

Responding to media reports of the incident, the Chief Minister expressed deep concern over the boy’s condition. He instructed the Chief Minister’s Office to ensure he receives the best possible treatment. He also ordered the GHMC Commissioner to visit the hospital personally. The Commissioner will meet the victim’s family and assess their needs for immediate government assistance.

The incident occurred when six-year-old Premchand, who is speech-impaired by birth, was playing outside his home in Shiv Ganga Colony on Wednesday morning. His father, Tirupati Rao, a labourer from Prakasam district, was at work. Meanwhile, his mother was busy with household chores when a pack of stray dogs attacked the child.
