Hyderabad: Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla said education donors play a vital role in nation-building, adding that financial support for education is a long-term investment in an empowered society and a stronger future.
He spoke at the Donors’ Felicitation and Awards Ceremony of the RGA Swarna Jayanthi Shiksha Nyas. The Rajasthani Graduates Association (RGA) organised the event at the FTCCI Surana Auditorium in Lakdi Ka Pul on Monday.
The Governor praised the Association for its contribution to education, social service and nation-building over the past six decades. He also appreciated the creation of the RGA Swarna Jayanthi Shiksha Nyas during the Association’s Golden Jubilee celebrations.
Education donors help transform young lives
According to him, the Trust has awarded scholarships worth several crores to thousands of meritorious and economically disadvantaged students. Moreover, it has extended support without any discrimination based on caste, religion or community.
He said privileged sections of society can transform the dreams of underprivileged students by supporting their education. Therefore, such initiatives strengthen both individuals and the nation.
Expressing confidence in the organisation, Shiv Pratap Shukla said the Rajasthani Graduates Association and the Shiksha Nyas would continue serving society through meaningful educational initiatives. He added that their efforts would inspire more education donors to support deserving students.
Later, he felicitated donors for their generous contributions and congratulated the Association for its continued service to society.
Shiksha Nyas Chairman Nandgopal Bhattad, Rajasthani Graduates Association President Gopal Das Sarada and other dignitaries attended the programme.
