Hyderabad: Telangana government advisor Mohammed Ali Shabbir declared Thursday that the Congress administration under Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy had fulfilled its Congress inclusive development commitments through welfare policies implemented within months of taking office.
Shabbir Ali made these remarks while campaigning door-to-door in Erragadda division of Jubilee Hills constituency alongside Minister Jupally Krishna Rao and other party officials supporting Congress candidate Naveen Yadav. The senior leader emphasized that the current government had demonstrated genuine commitment to equality and representation across all societal segments.
“The Congress government’s actions reflect delivery, not deception,” Shabbir Ali stated, adding that the administration had begun reversing neglect accumulated under the previous regime. He described the Revanth Reddy-led government’s approach as focused on empowerment through practical reforms, transparent recruitment processes, and social justice initiatives.
The advisor specifically highlighted the inclusion of minority professionals in key state bodies, educational opportunity expansion, and comprehensive community representation in government appointments as primary achievements. Several qualified members from minority communities received appointments to responsible positions, including a Muslim Additional Advocate General, government pleaders, and Dr Amir Ullah Khan to the Telangana State Public Service Commission.

Congress inclusive development extends to recruitment and education sectors
Shabbir Ali further detailed that the Congress government had maintained fairness in public recruitment while strengthening existing welfare institutions. “The present government is not working for headlines; it is working for the people,” he declared, explaining that schemes and appointments proceeded without discrimination.
Thousands of minority youth classified under BC-E category benefited from recent recruitment drives conducted by the Congress government, according to the advisor. Additionally, the administration sanctioned one Minority Law College and two Pharmacy Colleges while adding 2,200 new engineering seats in minority institutions.
In the latest DSC recruitment drive covering 10,006 posts, 720 candidates came from minority communities. Shabbir Ali characterized this outcome as “clear evidence of inclusive opportunity” demonstrating the government’s commitment to equitable representation.
Minister Jupally Krishna Rao stated that the Congress party was rebuilding Telangana based on justice and equality principles that had deteriorated under previous leadership. He appealed to Jubilee Hills residents to support Naveen Yadav, describing the candidate as representing Congress’s welfare-driven governance vision.
During the campaign, party leaders engaged with residents and distributed brochures outlining Revanth Reddy government achievements. Shabbir Ali concluded that government efforts proved “Congress delivers on its promises – not just in words, but through visible action.”
