Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi on Wednesday and invited him to attend the Telangana Rising summit. He also briefed the Prime Minister on the summit’s goals and stressed the government’s readiness.
He travelled with Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and several MPs. Together, they presented the summit’s vision document and explained how the two-day event will outline Telangana’s long-term development path. The meeting also covered preparations for the December 8–9 gathering at Bharat Future City.
Earlier in the day, Revanth Reddy met Union IT and Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. During the meeting, he sought the Minister’s participation in the Telangana Rising summit and highlighted the need for strong central engagement.
Delhi outreach for Telangana Rising summit grows
Later, the Chief Minister planned meetings with more Union Ministers to widen the summit’s outreach. He also prepared to invite Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi. On Tuesday night, he met AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge and requested his attendance.
The Chief Minister’s delegation included MPs Mallu Ravi, Kunduru Raghurvir Reddy, Suresh Shetkar, Chamal Kiran Kumar Reddy, Dr Kadiyam Kavya, Gaddam Vamsi Krishna and Anil Kumar Yadav. The government will host the event under the theme “Telangana India’s Pride.”
