Hyderabad: Tolichowki police arrested an accused after a 24-year-old man was stabbed to death in a shocking incident at Paramount Colony, raising fresh concerns over rising violent crimes in the city.
According to police, the murder took place near Marwa Dental Hospital within the Tolichowki police station limits. The victim, identified as Irfan, was attacked with a knife by a man named Bilal. Police said the incident stemmed from a minor argument between the accused and Irfan’s younger brother, Adnan.
When Irfan intervened to stop the quarrel, Bilal allegedly lost control and launched a brutal knife attack on him. Irfan suffered severe injuries and collapsed at the spot. Locals rushed him to a nearby hospital, but doctors declared him dead due to excessive blood loss.
Police registered a murder case and immediately took the accused into custody. Officers said further investigation was underway to establish the full sequence of events and the motive behind the attack.
