WaveX invites startups to apply for India AI Impact Summit 2026

New Delhi: WaveX invited applications from startups to participate in the India AI Impact Summit 2026, which the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology will organise from February 16 to 20 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.

Officials said the India AI Impact Summit would serve as a national platform to showcase innovative artificial intelligence solutions. Moreover, the event aimed to foster collaboration across India’s expanding AI ecosystem, with a focus on media, entertainment and emerging technologies.

As part of the summit, WaveX planned a dedicated Startup Exhibition Programme. Through this initiative, selected startups would present AI-driven products and solutions to a national and international audience. In addition, startups working in the AVGC-XR segment would receive focused exposure.

WaveX said it would provide dedicated showcase and business networking opportunities at the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Pavilion. Consequently, participating startups would gain direct access to policymakers, industry leaders, investors and global stakeholders.

Officials said the pavilion would function as a central hub for emerging AI technologies in the media and entertainment sector. Therefore, it would encourage collaboration between creative professionals and technology innovators.

India AI Impact Summit to strengthen startup ecosystem

According to organisers, the India AI Impact Summit would play a key role in strengthening India’s AI innovation ecosystem. It would facilitate structured engagement between startups and stakeholders from government, industry and academia.

WaveX operates as a startup accelerator under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting’s WAVES initiative. The platform focuses on innovation in media, entertainment and language technology. Over time, it has supported startups through hackathons, incubation programmes and mentorship.

To ensure wider reach, WaveX partnered with T-Hub Hyderabad and IIT Delhi. As a result, it now operates across nine incubation centres, including facilities in Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Delhi, Aizawl, Amravati, Dhenkanal, Kottayam and Jammu.

Officials said these efforts aligned with the government’s broader push to integrate startups with national platforms. They added that the summit would offer startups a rare opportunity to scale ideas, attract investment and build global connections.
