Krishank seeks details of 817 acres pledged to raise Rs 10,000 crore

Hyderabad: BRS spokesperson Manne Krishank on Friday demanded that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy disclose details of the 817 acres pledged to raise around Rs 10,000 crore. He alleged that the government has not ensured transparency in transactions involving Telangana’s public assets.

Krishank addressed a press conference at Telangana Bhavan. There, he sought valuation reports, official approvals and agreements for land parcels in Hitech City, Miyapur, Shankarpally, Patancheru, Hayathnagar and Jawaharnagar. He urged the government to release these records and explain the terms of the reported transactions.

Krishank also questioned the reported valuation of some parcels at around Rs 15 crore per acre. According to documents he cited, the land’s combined market value stood at approximately Rs 12,818.63 crore. In addition, he sought an explanation for the reported rise in HMDA-related bank balances. The balances went from Rs 275 crore on March 31, 2026, to around Rs 10,000 crore by June 30, 2026.

817 acres pledged: Jawaharnagar land questioned

Turning to Jawaharnagar, Krishank questioned the status of 50 acres in Survey No.12/P. He alleged that KLSR Infratech was using or accessing land allotted to Genpact in 2008. Therefore, he sought clarification on the company’s rights, the permissions granted and compliance with the original allotment conditions.

Krishank also raised questions about Medicover, MindVault and MaxBien Pharma. These included alleged business connections and possible conflicts of interest involving the Chief Minister’s family. He presented these concerns as issues requiring answers from the government.

Referring to the earlier Kancha Gachibowli land controversy, Krishank said authorities should back decisions on public land with proper valuations, transparent procedures and public disclosure. Accordingly, he demanded the release of documents relating to the reported transactions.

Krishank further called on the government to explain how it plans to use the funds raised. He also urged it to consider an independent inquiry into the transactions. Telangana’s public assets belong to its people, he maintained, and the BRS will continue to demand accountability.
