Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) will stop water supply for 48 hours from September 9 to 11 to carry out repairs under the Godavari project.
Crews will replace valves and service pumping stations, causing the disruption.
Hyderabad water supply alert for affected areas
The outage will hit Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Kukatpally, KPHB, Kondapur, Gachibowli, Miyapur, Pragatinagar, Kompally, Nizampet, Alwal, Hakimpet, and Secunderabad Cantonment. Rural areas such as Aler and Ghanpur will also face shortages.
Officials urged residents to store water in advance and use it carefully during the 48-hour cut.
