Hyderabad: The Bharatiya Janata Party appointed PL Srinivas BJP spokesperson for its Telangana unit, assigning him responsibility for media communication and public outreach.
Party leaders said PL Srinivas BJP spokesperson will represent the organisation during media interactions and explain party policies to the public.
He will also act as a key link between the party leadership and citizens, helping communicate the party’s positions on major issues.
After the appointment, PL Srinivas thanked several senior leaders for the opportunity.
He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national president Nitin Nabin.
Srinivas also thanked Telangana BJP president N. Ramchander Rao for entrusting him with the responsibility.
He further acknowledged support from MP and National OBC Morcha president K. Laxman.
Srinivas also thanked Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy and Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar.
PL Srinivas outlines Telangana issues
Following the announcement, Srinivas said he would work with dedication to strengthen the party’s communication with the people.
He said the party must highlight several key issues affecting Telangana.
According to him, these include policy paralysis, economic neglect and stalled development projects.
He also pointed to rising unemployment, agrarian distress and challenges in industrial growth.
Srinivas said the party should consistently raise these concerns before the public.
Party leaders noted that Srinivas brings experience in public relations and communication.
They said his understanding of Telangana’s socio-political landscape would strengthen the party’s media presence and outreach in the state.
