New Delhi: The countdown is on as India Mobile Congress 2025 prepares to open at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, from October 8 to 11. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the event at 9:30 a.m. For many founders, researchers, and students, this is the year when ideas meet markets.
Union Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia set the tone during a venue visit. He arrived by Airport Metro from Shivaji Stadium and walked the show floor with teams. He met startups, reviewed booths, and chaired meetings with DoT, COAI, and partner agencies. Moreover, he told reporters that IMC has grown from a national platform into a regional and global technology congress.
India Mobile Congress 2025 to turn ideas into deployments at scale
The numbers are eye-catching. Organizers expect more than 1.5 lakh visitors and over 7,000 global delegates. Additionally, about 400 exhibitors will occupy roughly 4.5 lakh square feet. Attendees can explore 1,600+ new technology use-cases. They can also join 100+ sessions and hear from 800+ speakers.
What will they see? The agenda focuses on 6G research, cybersecurity, satellite communication, AI in networks and services, IoT solutions, and telecom manufacturing. Consequently, the floor will span prototypes, pilots, and ready-to-scale platforms.
Six headline summits frame the conversation. The International Bharat 6G Symposium will highlight work by the Bharat 6G Alliance. The International AI Summit will track AI’s impact from planning to customer support. Furthermore, the Cyber Security Summit will stress protection for 1.2 billion telecom users. The Satcom Summit will unpack satellite-based services and new enterprise use-cases. In addition, the IMC Aspire Programme will bring about 500 startups and 300 VCs and PE investors together with industry leaders. Finally, the Global Startup World Cup – India Edition will see 15 finalists compete for a $1 million investment opportunity.
India’s digital trajectory gives the week extra momentum. The nation now counts 1.2 billion mobile subscribers and 970 million internet users. Notably, India achieved the fastest 5G rollout worldwide in just 22 months. Therefore, India Mobile Congress 2025 arrives when networks, talent, and capital are aligned.
Scindia called IMC a movement toward self-reliance: design in India, solve in India, and scale in India. For participants, the message is clear. Build for India first. Then, take those solutions to the world.
