Hyderabad: TPCC president Mahesh Goud alleged that Mahesh Goud allegations point to Kalvakuntla Kavitha’s influence in bringing K. Chandrashekar Rao back into active politics.
Addressing the media, he claimed Kavitha’s political moves forced the former chief minister to re-enter public life. He added that KCR appeared in public to protect his political relevance.
At the same time, Mahesh Goud thanked Kavitha for indirectly pushing KCR into the political arena. However, he maintained that the return reflected internal pressure within the BRS.
He also criticised KCR for opposing HYDRAA operations against lake encroachments in Hyderabad. Moreover, he questioned the intent behind resisting such actions.
Mahesh Goud allegations target HYDRAA opposition
Mahesh Goud alleged that several BRS leaders occupied lakes around Hyderabad. Therefore, he said the HYDRAA drive caused discomfort within the party.
He asked why KCR objected to clearing encroachments from water bodies. In addition, he advised the former chief minister to study HYDRAA regulations before criticising the agency.
Speaking about governance, Mahesh Goud said the Congress government was implementing promises made in its declarations. He added that welfare and administrative commitments were progressing.
Later, he announced that the state would soon fill nominated posts. He said leaders had already completed the exercise related to these appointments.
Meanwhile, he clarified that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy would take the final call on cabinet expansion. He added that the process would follow due procedure.
