Hyderabad: Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy urged people to attend the BJP meeting Parade Grounds in Secunderabad on May 10 during a preparatory meeting held for the Sherilingampally constituency on Friday.
BJP district president Vanipalli Srinivas Reddy organised the meeting, which was attended by Kishan Reddy and Chevella MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy as chief guests. The leaders addressed party workers and local representatives during the programme.
Kishan Reddy said Prime Minister Narendra Modi would launch and inaugurate projects worth Rs.8,000 crore during his visit to Telangana. He stated that the BJP meeting Parade Grounds would highlight several major infrastructure and development initiatives planned by the Centre.
According to the Union Minister, the projects include a petroleum products terminal and development works linked to AIIMS Bibinagar. He also said authorities would launch the Kazipet-Vijayawada third railway line project.
Kishan Reddy added that work on the Kazipet-Peddapalli bypass railway line would also begin during the Prime Minister’s visit. He further stated that Telangana would receive five Vande Bharat trains.
BJP meeting Parade Grounds preparations intensify
Kishan Reddy appealed to people to participate in the BJP meeting Parade Grounds in large numbers. He said the public meeting would showcase the Centre’s focus on infrastructure and railway development in Telangana.
BJP district general secretary Mahipal Reddy, constituency in-charge Ale Prabhakar Raj and BJP state spokesperson Maraboyina Ravi Kumar Yadav also addressed the gathering.
The leaders said the party was making extensive arrangements to ensure strong participation from the Sherilingampally constituency during Narendra Modi’s Telangana visit.
Senior BJP leader and former MLA Maraboyina Bhikshapathi Yadav also attended the meeting along with party functionaries and local leaders.
Meanwhile, BJP leaders expressed confidence that the public meeting would draw large crowds from different parts of Telangana ahead of the Prime Minister’s programme.
