Hyderabad: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will undertake a PM Telangana visit on 10 May 2026. During this visit, he will launch development projects worth around ₹9,400 crore. In addition, he will address public gatherings in both Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
First, he will attend the 45th Anniversary Celebrations of The Art of Living in Bengaluru. He will also participate in the 70th birthday celebrations of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Moreover, he will inaugurate the newly built Dhyan Mandir at the Art of Living International Centre. The Prime Minister will also launch nationwide service initiatives focused on social transformation and environmental protection.
After the Bengaluru programme, he will travel to Hyderabad. There, the PM Telangana visit will focus on infrastructure, industry, energy, railways and healthcare. Consequently, several foundation stones will be laid and major facilities will be dedicated to the nation.
PM Telangana visit to strengthen infrastructure and industry
The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for the four-laning of National Highway-167 between Gudebellur and Mahabubnagar. This project is part of the Hyderabad–Panaji Economic Corridor. It is valued at over ₹3,175 crore. Furthermore, it will reduce travel time by nearly 1 hour and 30 minutes. It will also improve road safety and fuel efficiency.
In addition, he will lay the foundation stone of the Zaheerabad Industrial Area in Sangareddy district. The project falls under the Hyderabad–Nagpur Industrial Corridor. It will be developed across 3,245 acres with an investment of over ₹2,350 crore. Importantly, authorities expect investments of nearly ₹10,000 crore. The project will also generate large employment opportunities.
Similarly, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the PM MITRA Park at Warangal. This park, also known as the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park, was developed under the PM MITRA Scheme. It costs around ₹1,700 crore. Notably, it is India’s first fully functional PM MITRA Park. It supports the 5F vision — Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign. Moreover, it includes modern infrastructure, a power substation and zero liquid discharge systems.
The Prime Minister will also dedicate Indian Oil’s Greenfield Terminal at Malkapur in Hyderabad. The terminal was built at a cost of over ₹600 crore. It has a tankage capacity of 1,65,000 kilolitres. Therefore, it will strengthen fuel storage and supply security in the region.
In the healthcare sector, he will dedicate Sindhu Hospital to the nation. This cancer-focused multi-super speciality quaternary care facility spans 2.1 million square feet. It has 1,500 beds and 29 operation theatres. In addition, it offers advanced cancer treatment, critical care and modern diagnostics.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister will dedicate railway projects worth around ₹1,535 crore. These include sections of the Kazipet–Vijayawada multi-tracking project covering 118 km. As a result, train capacity will increase and congestion will reduce. He will also inaugurate the Kazipet Rail Under Rail Bypass to improve traffic movement.
Overall, these projects aim to improve connectivity, boost industry and enhance healthcare access. Consequently, the initiatives support the vision of integrated development and faster economic growth in Telangana.
