Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy inaugurated the Chanchalguda flyover in Hyderabad on Thursday. The new four-lane road structure was built to improve city traffic flow.
The Chanchalguda flyover was constructed at a cost of ₹620 crore. It stretches 3.2 km and has a width of 16.6 metres.
Revanth Reddy formally opened the structure in the presence of ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs and other public representatives. The project added a major steel flyover to Hyderabad’s road infrastructure.
Several ministers and elected representatives attended the inauguration. Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Mohammed Azharuddin were present at the event.
MPs Asaduddin Owaisi, Vem Narender Reddy, Anil Kumar Yadav and Raghunever Reddy also attended the programme. In addition, MLAs, MLCs and corporation chairpersons participated in the inauguration.
Chanchalguda flyover spans 3.2 km
The Chanchalguda flyover has four lanes and covers a total distance of 3.2 km. Moreover, the structure measures 16.6 metres in width.
The government spent ₹620 crore on its construction. Revanth Reddy opened the flyover on Thursday in the presence of ministers and other public representatives.
The project forms part of efforts to strengthen Hyderabad’s road infrastructure. It also adds a new four-lane route to the city’s transport network.
