Hyderabad: Education path progress was highlighted by Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, who said quality education remains the only sustainable route for societal advancement.
He said the state government is expanding access to education under Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s leadership. Moreover, he added that major institutional investments are underway across Telangana.
Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, along with Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukender Reddy, laid the foundation stone for a Young India Integrated Residential School at Kondamallepally in Devarakonda constituency. The project is estimated to cost ₹200 crore.
He said the government plans to establish integrated residential schools in every constituency. Therefore, each campus will accommodate 2,563 students and promote inclusive education beyond caste and religion.

Officials also initiated infrastructure works at a Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya with an outlay of ₹80 lakh. In addition, the minister directed authorities to complete the Kondamallepally project within one year.
He assured that funds would be released without delay. Meanwhile, he said ₹20 crore has already been allocated for similar works in Nalgonda district.
Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said Telangana Public Schools will upgrade to international standards. Furthermore, he added that transport facilities will match private institutions with doorstep services.
On infrastructure, he said the government is taking up a four-lane road project from Nalgonda to Dindi at a cost of ₹324 crore. Similarly, works worth ₹74 crore are underway in Devarakonda constituency.
He added that tenders worth ₹13,000 crore have been called for road projects across the state. Consequently, officials expect work to begin in May after agreements are finalised.
The minister said education path progress will continue through phased expansion of infrastructure based on demand across districts.
