Employee issues cabinet review: Bhatti assures swift action

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka assured an employee issues cabinet review, promising swift action on long-pending demands raised by government staff.

He made the statement during a meeting with employee union leaders at Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Praja Bhavan. The discussion focused on resolving key concerns through a structured Cabinet-level review.

Bhatti Vikramarka said the government remained committed to addressing employee issues with sincerity and accountability. He added that government staff played a crucial role in implementing welfare programmes and ensuring effective governance.

During the meeting, he interacted with leaders from various unions and heard their concerns in detail. He emphasised that employees acted as a bridge between the administration and the public. Therefore, their welfare directly influenced service delivery at the grassroots level.

Union leaders welcomed the government’s approach and noted improvements in financial discipline. They highlighted that salaries were being paid on the first day of every month. In addition, they pointed to the allocation of ₹1,000 crore each month to clear pending dues of retired employees.

Employee issues cabinet review to address PRC and DA

Key demands raised during the meeting included implementation of the Pay Revision Commission and release of pending Dearness Allowance. Health card-related concerns were also discussed in detail.

Bhatti Vikramarka said the Cabinet Sub-Committee would examine these issues comprehensively. He assured that decisions would be taken soon after due consideration. Furthermore, he stated that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was taking a positive view on employee-related matters.

He said all proposals would be placed before the Chief Minister for final approval. As a result, the government aimed to ensure timely resolution of pending demands.

Leaders of the Telangana Government Employees Joint Action Committee attended the meeting. Representatives from various departments and senior officials also participated and expressed support for coordinated action.
