Land agitation in Uppal Bhagayath announced by Telangana Rakshana Sena

Hyderabad: Telangana Rakshana Sena chief Kalvakuntla Kavitha unveiled a poster for the proposed agitation at Uppal Bhagayath at the TRS office in Banjara Hills and called on people from all sections to participate in the programme.

Addressing party workers and supporters, Kavitha announced that the protest would be held on July 2. She said participants would seek possession of government land in the area as part of the movement.

Kavitha alleged that the government had failed to fulfil its promise of allotting 250 square yards of land to Telangana movement activists. She demanded that officials identify eligible activists and provide the promised land without further delay.

Land agitation in Uppal Bhagayath seeks justice for activists

Kavitha alleged that some forces were attempting to weaken Telangana ideology and diminish the spirit of the statehood movement. Therefore, she urged supporters to make the July 2 programme successful.

She described the campaign as a historic responsibility for people seeking justice for Telangana activists. The land agitation in Uppal Bhagayath aims to bring attention to their long-pending demands.

Kavitha appealed to youth, women and supporters of the Telangana movement to participate in large numbers. She said activists had made immense sacrifices for statehood and deserved the benefits promised to them.

Telangana Rakshana Sena leader reiterated that the organisation would continue its struggle until authorities implemented commitments made to movement activists.
