Hyderabad: 16th edition of the NAREDCO Telangana Property Show 2026 concluded on Sunday at the HITEX Exhibition Centre. The three-day HITEX property show brought together developers, financial institutions, allied industry stakeholders and homebuyers. Chief guest Gangapuram Kishan Reddy, the Union Minister of Coal and Mines and Secunderabad MP, attended the valedictory ceremony. Other dignitaries also attended.
The show saw 75 developers and builders, five financial institutions and 10 allied industry participants. Over the three days, it displayed more than 500 projects for homebuyers and investors. Visitors could explore apartments, villas, plotted developments and commercial properties across a range of locations and budgets.
Developers and industry stakeholders also saw interest across multiple property segments. This offered insights into evolving buyer preferences and market trends. The interactions and enquiries recorded during the event reflected the diverse requirements of today’s homebuyers and investors. They also highlighted the continued importance of direct engagement between consumers and the industry.
Speaking on the occasion, Kishan Reddy said India ranked in the top 30 in the Global Real Estate Transparency Index 2026. He added that India is also the most improved market in the Asia Pacific region. Investors are showing growing confidence in India, he said. Real estate already contributes 7% of the country’s GDP, and he said it is projected to reach 13% in 2030.
“A good home should be within the reach of every family,” the Union Minister said. He urged all stakeholders to treat real estate as a business of people and aspirations. It is not just about land, building and transactions, he said.
NAREDCO Telangana seeks GST relief at the HITEX property show
NAREDCO Telangana President Sreedhar Reddy Koppula said the real estate industry is the most wealth-generating in the country. However, material prices have gone up, and developers face the brunt of the hike. He pointed out that commercial and rental properties still attract 18% GST. He urged the Ministry to relieve the industry of these charges to realise the 2047 vision.
Koppula said the government has taken steps to aid construction, including RERA extensions and target guarantees. However, he said these steps are not enough. He requested the government to revise these orders so that developers have enough time to build and projects do not face interruption midway. Small adjustments can help the industry continue to grow and add wealth to the nation, he said.
As the 16th edition concludes, the HITEX property show offers insights into evolving consumer preferences, market sentiment and emerging opportunities across segments. The strong engagement throughout the event reinforces the importance of collaboration, engagement and informed decision-making. These shape the future of Telangana’s real estate landscape.
