New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam highlighting the power of youth in nation-building. He said India’s young people can achieve any goal through zeal and passion.
In his message, the Prime Minister stressed that strong resolve makes the impossible achievable. He explained that courage and determination define true strength.
Through symbolism, the Subhashitam compares the world to a small courtyard for the brave. Likewise, vast oceans are likened to ponds. Even towering mountains appear like molehills to those with firm resolve.
The verse reads:
“अङ्गणवेदी वसुधा कुल्या जलधिः स्थली च पातालम्।
वल्मीकश्च सुमेरुः कृतप्रतिज्ञस्य वीरस्य॥”
Explaining further, the Prime Minister said the verse reflects fearlessness and inner strength. He added that unwavering willpower helps overcome even the toughest challenges.
Sanskrit Subhashitam reflects Vivekananda’s vision
Linking the message to Swami Vivekananda, the Prime Minister noted that Vivekananda always viewed youth as the nation’s greatest force. He said young people shape the country’s future.
Moreover, he emphasised that the energy and dedication of Indian youth can turn bold ambitions into reality.
Meanwhile, the message was shared on the social media platform X. Writing in Hindi, the Prime Minister reiterated that youth power is the strongest pillar of nation-building. He expressed confidence in India’s youth to fulfil every resolve with passion and determination.
