Sama Ram Mohan Reddy demands Bandi Sanjay son case cooperation

Hyderabad: Congress media communication chairman Sama Ram Mohan Reddy urged Union Minister Bandi Sanjay to cooperate with authorities in the Bandi Sanjay son case registered under the POCSO Act. He asked the minister to hand over his son to police for investigation.

Speaking at Gandhi Bhavan, he said he welcomed Bandi Sanjay’s statement that his son should face punishment if found guilty. Therefore, he asked the minister to demonstrate commitment by fully supporting the probe.

He demanded that the accused be produced before police authorities without delay. Moreover, he said transparency would strengthen public confidence in the legal process.

Sama Ram Mohan Reddy questioned opposition parties over claims that the Telangana government was protecting the accused. In addition, he said the state administration had taken strict action in other cases and would act against anyone involved in wrongdoing.

He alleged that some BJP and BRS leaders were extending support to the Union Minister in the matter. Furthermore, he claimed that political influence should not affect the investigation.

The Congress leader demanded that Bandi Sanjay resign from his ministerial post and cooperate completely with authorities. Consequently, he said the investigation must proceed without pressure or interference.

He also stated that innocent individuals should not hesitate to face inquiry. Meanwhile, he urged law enforcement agencies to follow due procedure and ensure a fair investigation in the case.
