Hyderabad: Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP and party leader in the Upper House Milind Deora said Shiv Sena Telangana would expand its organisation across the state.
Deora made the announcement while addressing a state-level meeting of key party workers in Hyderabad on Thursday.
The party would intensify its organisational activities across Telangana, he said. It would also prepare a specific action plan to address issues raised by people.
Deora said the party would seek to replicate the “Maharashtra Model” in Telangana. For this purpose, leaders from Maharashtra would visit the state frequently.
He said these visits would help strengthen the party’s presence and organisational activities. The party would also work to build its network at the grassroots level.
Deora said Shiv Sena would strengthen its grassroots organisation under the leadership of party chief Eknath Shinde. He also outlined issues that the party plans to pursue in Telangana.

Deora demanded that the state government rename Hussain Sagar as “Vinayak Sagar”. He said the party was ready to pursue a legal battle to secure the change.
He also demanded a complete ban on cow slaughter in Telangana. Further, Shivaji urged the state government to recognise the cow as the state animal.
The demands formed part of the party’s broader plans in Telangana. Deora said the organisation would continue its campaign on the cow-related issue.
Meanwhile, Deora said Shiv Sena Telangana would strengthen its presence ahead of the upcoming elections. The organisational expansion would focus on building the party from the grassroots level.
He said the party would intensify its activities across the state. Leaders would also work to address issues raised by people through a specific action plan.
The state-level meeting brought key party workers together in Hyderabad. They discussed the organisation’s plans for Telangana and its proposed expansion.
Deora’s remarks also highlighted the party’s plan to draw on its organisational experience in Maharashtra. Leaders from Maharashtra are expected to visit Telangana as part of that effort.
The party said its focus would remain on strengthening its grassroots network. It also plans to continue raising issues it considers important in Telangana.
