Minority Study Circle opens in Hyderabad, Azharuddin urges youth to pursue success
Hyderabad: Minister Mohammed Azharuddin inaugurated the Minority Study Circle in Hyderabad and urged minority youth to use it fully.
The new centre aimed to help students prepare for competitive exams and receive career guidance. It also focused on education and career development.
Azharuddin urged students to approach their goals with passion, hard work, discipline and determination. He said these qualities could help them build successful careers.
The minister inaugurated the centre at Indira Priya Darshini Junior College. He described the Minority Study Circle as an important step towards supporting minority youth through education.
He also praised Minorities Welfare Department officials for completing the facility. In particular, he appreciated Director Tariq Anwar for his efforts.
Azharuddin said the government had created facilities and opportunities for students. However, he told students that they must use those resources effectively.
“Nothing comes free. Now that everything has been provided for you, you must take this opportunity and progress in life,” Azharuddin told students.
He asked students to develop passion for their chosen fields. At the same time, he stressed the need for sincere effort and strong commitment.
The minister also spoke about the state government’s efforts to improve opportunities for minority communities. He said Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy remained committed to their educational advancement and overall development.
Azharuddin praised the Chief Minister’s openness to suggestions. He also appreciated his willingness to consider steps that could improve educational opportunities.
Meanwhile, the minister encouraged students to ask questions without hesitation. He said questioning formed an important part of learning and personal growth.
He recalled his cricketing career while explaining the value of guidance. During his time with the Indian team, he said, he regularly asked captain Sunil Gavaskar questions.
According to Azharuddin, those interactions helped him learn and improve. Therefore, he urged students to stay curious and seek guidance when they needed it.
He also encouraged girls to take part more actively in education and employment. He advised boys to avoid bad habits and use their time productively.
Azharuddin recalled his student days at Nizam College to highlight the value of determination. He said two of his friends studied under a tree despite having limited facilities.
Both friends later achieved success in their respective lives, he said. Their experience showed how determination and hard work could help people overcome difficult circumstances.
Minority Study Circle expands exam and career support
The Minority Study Circle offered a focused facility for students preparing for competitive examinations. It also aimed to provide career guidance and support educational advancement.
Government Advisor Mohammed Ali Shabbir highlighted the importance of education and knowledge. He recalled that the first word revealed in the Quran was “Iqra”, meaning “Read”.
Shabbir said education remained essential for empowering minority youth. He also highlighted government initiatives and reservation measures designed to expand opportunities.
TMREIS President Faheem Qureshi called the new centre a major milestone for minority youth. He appreciated Azharuddin’s efforts and follow-up with the Chief Minister and departments.
Qureshi urged students to make maximum use of the available facilities. He also stressed the need to improve minority representation in UPSC, civil services and other competitive examinations.
MP Anil Kumar Yadav described the facility as a historic initiative. He said it would benefit both present and future generations.
He also praised the government’s focus on education and the development of minority institutions.
The programme drew Government Advisor Mohammed Ali Shabbir and MP Anil Kumar Yadav. TMREIS President Faheem Qureshi also took part in the event.
Minorities Welfare Department Director Tariq Anwar attended with Ahmed Nadeem, Ubaidulla Kotwal and Azmatullah Hussaini. Officials, representatives and many minority students and youth also attended.
Azharuddin reiterated the government’s commitment to better educational and career opportunities for minority youth. He urged students to seize the opportunities available to them.
The minister again stressed the importance of passion and determination in building a successful future. He said education, discipline and sustained effort could help students achieve their goals.
The new centre created a focused space for education and career preparation. It also placed competitive examination support and career guidance at the centre of efforts to help minority youth in Hyderabad.
