Mahaveer International Secunderabad to host Jaikaar and Jalsa 5.0 fundraisers
Hyderabad: Mahaveer International Secunderabad will organise two musical and cultural fundraisers at Hitex on October 2 and 3, 2026, to support education, healthcare and skill development initiatives.
The organisation will host ‘Jaikaar’, a spiritual concert, on October 2 at 6.01 PM. The following day, ‘Jalsa 5.0’ will bring a Dandiya Ras celebration to the city. Organisers said the net proceeds from both events will support social service programmes and help reach more beneficiaries.
The Jaikaar Jalsa events are part of Mahaveer International Secunderabad’s ongoing community welfare and social development activities. The organisers said they aim to combine music and cultural celebrations with a wider social purpose.
The spiritual concert will feature devotional singer, composer, songwriter, performer and music producer Nikhar Juneja. He is known for combining traditional bhakti music with contemporary arrangements.
Juneja has around 2.4 million YouTube subscribers and about 500 million video views, according to the organisers. He also has around 2.5 million Instagram followers. His popular devotional tracks include ‘Shiv Shankar Adiyogi’, ‘Shankar Santaap Mitaye’, ‘Kailash Ke Niwasi’, ‘Shiv Vaani’ and ‘Hanuman Chalisa – Powerful & Fast’.
Jaikaar Jalsa combines music with social service
‘Jalsa 5.0’ will feature Mumbai-based live vocalist and performer Sharad Lashkari and his band. Organisers said Lashkari has performed at more than 3,000 live shows in India and overseas.
His performances cover Bollywood, retro, Sufi and festive music. He also has a strong association with large-scale Navratri and Dandiya celebrations and has performed for audiences in more than 10 countries.
Veena Ostwal, Chairperson; Rachana Chopra, Secretary; Mitesh Mehta, Treasurer; and Paresh Shah, Convener for the events, disclosed the details at a press interaction in Hyderabad.
“Jaikaar and Jalsa bring together spirituality, music, celebration and seva. Our endeavour is to create memorable experiences for the community while ensuring that the proceeds contribute meaningfully towards education, healthcare and skill development. We invite citizens to participate and support the cause,” they said.
The organisers said Jaikaar would offer an evening of spiritual music and devotion. Jalsa 5.0, meanwhile, would bring the festive atmosphere of Dandiya Ras to the city.
Both events are expected to draw families, community members and music and cultural enthusiasts. The organisers said the programmes would also provide an opportunity for participants to contribute to the organisation’s social initiatives through the fundraisers.
Tickets for the events are available through BookMyShow. The events have received support from SPM Cables, Bharti Cement, Holiday Bazaar, Shree TMT, Jain Constructions and Vaishnavi Group.
