New Delhi: Indusfood 2026 will project India’s growing leadership in global food trade as the ninth edition of the flagship food and beverage exhibition opens in Greater Noida from January 8 to 10. The Trade Promotion Council of India organised the event to strengthen India’s position in global food supply chains.
Branded as Asia’s premier food and beverage sourcing platform, Indusfood 2026 will bring Indian food producers, international buyers, policymakers, and industry leaders together. The platform aims to promote trade partnerships, bilateral engagements, and long-term collaborations.
Union Minister of Food Processing Industries Chirag Paswan will formally inaugurate the exhibition. Officials said the event reflected the government’s focus on strengthening food processing, improving export competitiveness, and expanding market access for Indian products.
A major highlight of Indusfood 2026 will be the launch of the India–UAE Food Corridor by Abu Dhabi Food Hub. The initiative aims to strengthen food security, streamline supply chains, and accelerate bilateral food trade. In addition, Saudi Arabian exhibitor Alsalan will mark its 75-year milestone, highlighting deepening food trade ties between India and Saudi Arabia.
The exhibition is expected to draw participants from more than 120 countries. Thousands of verified global buyers and several high-level international trade delegations will attend the event.
Indusfood 2026 to spotlight logistics, start-ups and culinary leadership
Indusfood 2026 will host dedicated business and logistics platforms, including a ‘Bharat Mart’ session by DP World. The session will focus on export infrastructure, logistics integration, and policy dialogue to boost competitiveness.
The event will also host the inaugural World Culinary Heritage Conference. International and Indian chefs, policymakers, and industry leaders will discuss heritage preservation and culinary innovation. Moreover, the India International Centre for Culinary Leadership, along with IFCA, will conduct a five-day residential programme for 150 chefs. Participants will receive Level 1 ‘Ambassador of Indian Cuisine’ certification.
APEDA’s ‘Bharati Initiative’ will showcase innovative Indian agri-food start-ups through Shark Tank–style pitch sessions. These sessions will connect start-ups with global buyers and investors. In addition, curated engagements with industry bodies such as FIFI, FHRAI, and KSBA will promote collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Indusfood 2026 will also host global delegations, including trade leaders from Turkey, Worldchefs President Andy Cuthbert, and Asia Continental Director Willment Leong. Officials and retail buyers from Fiji will also attend.
Organisers said Indusfood 2026 would connect Indian producers with global markets amid rising demand for safe and sustainable food. They added that the event would support innovation, value-added processing, and export-led growth.
