Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy ordered officials to draft a Core Urban Act to replace the existing GHMC law for three municipal corporations within the Outer Ring Road limits.
He said the proposed legislation must regulate building permissions, fee structures and development works in the notified core zone. Moreover, the law will apply uniformly to all three corporations located within the ORR jurisdiction.

Further, he directed departments to bring all roads under the control of MAUD. This includes roads currently maintained by the Roads and Buildings Department and other agencies. Meanwhile, he asked authorities to speed up construction of government offices in the proposed Future City.
