Nizamabad Congress office foundation laid, Rahul Gandhi to inaugurate

Hyderabad: The Nizamabad Congress office will be inaugurated by Rahul Gandhi in the district, TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud said on Wednesday.

Mahesh Kumar Goud, along with district in-charge minister Dansari Anasuya, performed the bhoomi puja for the Nizamabad Congress office building earlier in the day. The ceremony marked the formal launch of construction for the party’s district facility.

Speaking at the event, Mahesh Kumar Goud said Rahul Gandhi had sacrificed the Prime Minister’s post and continued to draw support nationwide. He added that people across the country were looking toward the Congress leader for direction.

Nizamabad Congress office construction begins with party confidence

The TPCC chief expressed confidence that the Congress would return to power whenever elections were held. He asserted that the party remained strong in Telangana and faced no serious political challenge.

Mahesh Kumar Goud accused the BJP of fostering divisions along caste and religious lines. He also claimed that the Congress would secure 100 seats in the next elections.

Furthermore, he assured that the Congress government would fulfil all promises made to the public. He alleged that the previous BRS government led by K. Chandrashekar Rao had pushed Telangana backward by 50 years.

He stated that the party planned to establish Congress offices across the state using a uniform model. He also emphasised that the government would not compromise on development activities.

Meanwhile, Minister Dansari Anasuya said the Congress government had delivered significant development within two-and-a-half years. She noted that four lakh houses had been constructed within one year under government initiatives.

Government advisers Sudarshan Reddy and Mohammed Ali Shabbir, along with MLA Bhoopathi Reddy, attended the programme.

The Nizamabad Congress office project is part of a broader plan to strengthen the party’s organisational presence across Telangana.
