Sravan accuses Revanth of fear-driven Telangana governance

Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader and MLC Dr. Dasoju Sravan Kumar has intensified his criticism of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, alleging that Telangana’s governance has descended into “panic politics.” He said Sravan accuses Revanth of acting out of fear rather than public trust, turning every policy decision into a reaction to political pressure.

In a statement issued Saturday, Sravan said the government’s growing unease was clear from its recent actions. “Every move by Revanth Reddy today signals fear of failure. This government is not guided by confidence but by crisis management,” he remarked. According to him, Congress leaders had become anxious after witnessing the strong response to the BRS roadshow in Shaikpet led by K.T. Rama Rao.

Sravan said the turnout proved the public’s rejection of Congress misrule. “The people of Telangana are showing they trust BRS once again. This enthusiasm will spread across the state in the coming days,” he stated.

He accused the Chief Minister of trying to distract the public with “political drama” instead of addressing core issues. “When leaders fear accountability, they stage spectacles. Telangana’s youth still wait for jobs, farmers await relief, and inflation continues unchecked,” Sravan said.

Commenting on Mohammad Azharuddin’s cabinet induction, he claimed it was driven by panic rather than genuine inclusion. “After ignoring Muslim representation for two years, Revanth suddenly discovered inclusivity due to electoral fear. This is not empowerment but political anxiety,” he added.

Sravan asserted that the Congress government had betrayed every section within two years. “Farmers, youth, and minorities all feel abandoned. By hiding behind fear-based decisions, the government is only deepening public resentment,” he noted.

The BRS MLC said the party’s campaign in Jubilee Hills would expose what he described as “hollow governance.” “People remember who built Telangana. They will reject leaders who rule through fear. Telangana needs confidence, not chaos,” he said.

He concluded that BRS stood ready to restore stability. “Revanth Reddy’s panic politics cannot last. Governance rooted in fear collapses under the truth of people’s judgment,” Sravan declared.
