Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) staged a road blockade at 6 Number Circle in Amberpet on Tuesday, demanding the Bandi Sai Bhageerath arrest in connection with allegations involving a minor girl. Party leaders organised the protest under the Amberpet constituency unit.
Leaders and women activists raised slogans during the demonstration. They targeted Union Minister Bandi Sanjay and his son. In addition, MLA Kaleru Venkatesh joined party workers in the protest.
The protesters insisted on immediate action. They demanded that authorities register the case under the POCSO Act. Moreover, they alleged that officials were attempting to dilute the case by describing it as a honey-trap issue.
