Hyderabad: Shabbir Ali visit to Adilabad began on Monday ahead of the official Telangana Formation Day celebrations. Telangana Government Advisor Mohammed Ali Shabbir arrived in the district as the chief guest for the state event and will participate in the national flag-hoisting programme on June 2.
Officials received him at the Penganga Guest House soon after his arrival. Police personnel presented a guard of honour during the reception ceremony. The district administration made elaborate arrangements for the celebrations, which mark the anniversary of Telangana’s formation.
The state government is conducting Telangana Formation Day programmes across all districts. Senior officials have coordinated with local departments to ensure smooth conduct of the events. The celebrations include official ceremonies, cultural programmes and public participation activities.
Government representatives said the occasion highlights Telangana’s achievements in governance, welfare and infrastructure since the state’s formation. District authorities have also taken steps to ensure security and public convenience during the celebrations.

Adilabad Collector Rajarshi Shah, DSP Jeevan Reddy and RDO Jagadish welcomed Mohammed Ali Shabbir with bouquets after the ceremonial reception. Senior officers from the district administration and police department also attended the programme.
Officials reviewed arrangements for the flag-hoisting ceremony and other scheduled events. They discussed coordination among departments and assessed preparations at key venues.
