Hyderabad: KTR education sponsorship initiative will support the education and empowerment of 50 economically disadvantaged young women from this year. BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao announced the programme on Friday ahead of his upcoming 50th birthday.
Speaking as the chief guest at the SPARSA 2026 annual meeting at JRC Convention in Film Nagar, KTR praised the organisation for improving lives through education, skill development and employment generation.

KTR commended SPARSA for improving the economic and social status of women. He said the organisation’s contribution to education, skill development and employment deserved appreciation.
Furthermore, he described helping underprivileged people as a social responsibility. He also assured continued support for initiatives that promote women’s education, economic independence and social empowerment.
The BRS leader said the KTR education sponsorship programme would benefit 50 young women from economically weaker backgrounds. He added that the initiative would strengthen their educational opportunities and encourage long-term empowerment.
KTR said education remained one of the strongest tools for social transformation. Therefore, he urged continued efforts to expand opportunities for disadvantaged women through collective support and community participation.
