New Delhi: Bharat Tex 2026 will bring together global buyers, manufacturers, investors and policymakers in New Delhi from July 14 to 17, showcasing India’s textile ecosystem and strengthening the country’s position in global trade and innovation.
The Ministry of Textiles said Bharat Tex 2026 will take place at Bharat Mandapam under the theme, “Weaving Indian Textiles Excellence into Fabric of Global Growth.” The Bharat Tex Trade Federation, supported by the Ministry, is organising the event.
The exhibition will showcase the complete textile value chain, covering fibre, yarn, fabrics, apparel, home textiles, technical textiles and allied industries. More than 1,600 exhibitors will participate, while organisers expect over 7,000 buyers, 1.3 lakh trade visitors and displays of more than 20,000 textile products across 1.6 million square feet.
The event will also feature over 350 speakers from more than 20 countries. Industry leaders, policymakers, global experts and business executives will discuss trade, sustainability, technology, investment and innovation during more than 100 knowledge sessions.
Bharat Tex 2026 to boost trade and investment
Eight states, including Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh, will participate as sponsor states. Meanwhile, nine other states and Union Territories will showcase regional textile clusters, investment opportunities and manufacturing capabilities.
International participation will expand further with exhibitors from 14 countries and institutional representation from the United Nations and the European Union. Ministerial delegations from New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Jordan, Cambodia and Brunei have also expressed interest in attending the event.
Organisers expect the expo to facilitate nearly 3,500 business-to-business meetings, more than 100 business-to-government meetings and over 20 memorandums of understanding covering trade, investment, sustainability and technology partnerships.
The exhibition will also host investor connect sessions, country-specific business meetings and the CITI Textile Sustainability Awards 2026. In addition, dedicated discussions will focus on export readiness, circular economy, Industry 5.0, fibre security and emerging technologies.
To improve visitor experience, organisers have launched the Bharat Tex 2026 mobile application and a pre-fair directory. These digital platforms will help exhibitors, buyers and delegates schedule meetings, discover exhibitors, access event information and generate business leads before and during the exhibition.
The Ministry said Bharat Tex 2026 will strengthen India’s role as a global textile hub by promoting exports, attracting investments, encouraging innovation and creating new international partnerships across the textile value chain.
