HackPrix Season 3 concludes at LIET; final results expected after review

Hyderabad: HackPrix Season 3 concluded at Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology (LIET) after a 36-hour coding marathon involving more than 550 student innovators from over 150 teams representing 25 Indian states and international participants.

The international-level hackathon received more than 3,500 applications from India and abroad. After multiple screening stages, organisers shortlisted over 900 participants. Eventually, more than 550 hackers competed for a prize pool of ₹3 lakh across six emerging technology domains.

The competition featured projects in Generative AI and Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Blockchain and Web3, IoT and Embedded Systems, Sustainable Development, and Open Innovation.

HackPrix Season 3 highlights innovation and industry collaboration

Organisers completed project evaluations and initiated a community review and cheat-check process to maintain transparency and originality. Therefore, the organisers expect to announce the final results within a week.

The closing ceremony featured academic and industry leaders, including Stealth AI Founder Najeed Khan, LIET Principal Dr R K Singh, Chairman Syed Basha Mohinuddin, Secretary Dr Rizwana Begum, Vice Chairman Syed Touseef Ahmed and Joint Secretary Syed Tanveer Ahmed.

Dr Ch Santhan Kumar, Dean IQAC and Convenor of HackPrix, said the event demonstrated the increasing innovation potential of young engineers. He added that the review process would identify the most impactful and deserving solutions.

Meanwhile, Najeed Khan said participants displayed strong capabilities in artificial intelligence and practical problem-solving. He stated that platforms such as HackPrix were shaping future technology founders and innovators.

Dr R K Singh said the institution remained committed to connecting academia with industry through experiential learning opportunities. Furthermore, the management of LIET highlighted that the hackathon encouraged creativity, entrepreneurship and collaborative problem-solving among students.

The event received support from technology partners including Google Gemini, Sarvam AI, MongoDB, ElevenLabs and Vultr. Additionally, Major League Hacking, Devfolio and several academic and industry collaborators supported the programme.

As the final verification process continues, participants now await the announcement of winners. The organisers said the comprehensive review process will ensure fairness and recognise outstanding innovations developed during the hackathon.
