In Mancherial district, heatstroke killed Bhogarapu Marayya (56). Similarly, Dasharatham Soumya (19) died in Peddapalli district due to heatstroke. In Narayanpet district, heatstroke claimed the life of an unidentified elderly man.

In a separate incident, lightning struck farmer Kurmarangu Jangaiah (51) in Sangareddy district while he worked in his field. He died on the spot due to the strike.

However, weather conditions shifted slightly later in the day. Light showers brought temporary relief in parts of Hyderabad, Rangareddy and Medchal districts. Despite this, the overall weather pattern remained unstable.

Officials said northern Telangana districts would continue to face heatwave conditions. At the same time, some regions may experience isolated rainfall and thunderstorms.

They advised residents to avoid prolonged exposure to heat and remain cautious during sudden weather changes. Authorities also urged people to take preventive measures to reduce heat-related risks.
