Jammu: The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission held a scientific conclave on Indian Pharmacopoeia 2026 in Jammu to advance drug standards and ensure medicine quality.
The Commission organised the event with the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research at CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine on April 17, 2026. The conclave brought together regulators, academicians, and industry experts to discuss key updates in pharmaceutical standards.
Senior officials addressed the inaugural session and stressed the need to strengthen drug quality frameworks. They said the Indian Pharmacopoeia 2026 serves as a critical tool to maintain uniform standards for medicines across the country.
