Hyderabad: Telangana Rakshana Sena chief Kalvakuntla Kavitha accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of corruption and political double standards.
Kavitha said the chief minister used the Assembly to promote himself instead of addressing public issues. She also criticised both the Congress and BRS for disrupting the House.
She alleged that Revanth Reddy had failed as the Education and Home Minister. She further accused him of changing political alliances to protect his interests.
Kavitha said the BJP had also played a mixed role in the Assembly. According to her, some BJP members backed the BRS while others supported the Congress.
She expressed disappointment over clashes between ruling and opposition members inside the Assembly. She said the exchanges even led to alleged remarks against the Speaker.
Kavitha said legislators could resolve major public issues if they worked together. Instead, she alleged that both major parties were wasting public money.

Kavitha also made several allegations against the chief minister and his ministers. She accused them of taking commissions through different government activities.
She alleged that ministers were linked to commissions involving land transfers, irrigation projects and sand. She also accused the government of corruption in projects linked to the Musi river.
Kavitha claimed that Revanth Reddy had misused the Right to Information Act to threaten real estate businessmen. She also questioned his past political conduct and alleged links with Andhra-based individuals.
She further questioned the BRS over its role in the Assembly and Legislative Council. She asked why the party did not challenge the government in the Council after members faced suspension.
Kavitha also raised allegations about a 100-acre land transfer in Siddipet. She claimed land from the prohibited list was removed and registered in the name of former minister Harish Rao’s father.
She challenged Revanth Reddy and minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy to take action if there was no connection between the alleged parties. Kavitha said she would submit documents supporting her claims.
Kavitha also criticised the Congress government by comparing it with the earlier BRS administration. She alleged that both governments had indulged in corruption, while accusing the current government of large-scale wrongdoing.
She announced that her group would hold a Pancha Janya Sankalpa Sabha in Kodangal on September 20. Kavitha said the meeting would place her allegations against the chief minister before the public.
