New Delhi: Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh approved missile technology transfer from DRDO to Indian defence firms for domestic production.
The move covers all conventional missile systems developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation. It marks a major step towards Aatmanirbharta in defence.
The approval will allow qualified Indian companies to produce these missile systems within the country. Firms must meet applicable qualifications, certifications and regulatory requirements.
