Rythu Bharosa launch shifted to Hyderabad after Madhira event postponed

Hyderabad: The Telangana government shifted the Rythu Bharosa launch to Hyderabad after heavy rain and waterlogging forced the postponement of the Rythu Ashirvada Sabha scheduled in Madhira, Khammam district, on Tuesday.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will now release the Rythu Bharosa funds at Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad. He directed ministers and officials to make all necessary arrangements for the revised programme.

The government had originally planned the Rythu Ashirvada Sabha at Jagannathapuram in Chintakani mandal of the Madhira Assembly constituency. The Chief Minister was scheduled to address farmers and formally launch the fund distribution.

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, along with Ministers Tummala Nageswara Rao and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, supervised extensive preparations for the event. Officials expected nearly one lakh people to attend the public meeting.

Heavy rain forces Rythu Bharosa launch venue change

However, continuous rainfall left the venue waterlogged and unsuitable for a large gathering. District officials informed the ministers and the Chief Minister’s Office that conducting the event had become impractical.

Therefore, the government cancelled the Madhira programme and moved the Rythu Bharosa launch to Hyderabad.

Farmers from across Telangana will participate virtually through their local Rythu Vedikas while the Chief Minister releases the funds from Shilpakala Vedika.
