New Delhi: Steel Authority of India Limited signed an MoU with Management Development Institute, Gurgaon to strengthen executive education programmes for leadership development and organisational capability building.
SAIL’s Management Training Institute and MDI Gurgaon signed the agreement at the SAIL Corporate Office in New Delhi on May 20.
The partnership aims to combine academic learning with practical business applications through customised leadership programmes and innovation-driven training initiatives for SAIL executives.
Officials said the collaboration would focus on strategy development, action learning and measurable business outcomes. In addition, the initiative includes overseas learning programmes, joint research activities and consulting support.
The agreement also seeks to align SAIL’s leadership development practices with global industry standards.
Executive education partnership focuses on leadership training
The MoU was signed by Sanjay Dhar, Executive Director (HR-L&D), MTI-SAIL, and Prof. Sumita Rai, Dean–Industry Connect, MDI Gurgaon.
SAIL Director (Personnel) K. K. Singh and senior executives from both organisations attended the signing ceremony.
Officials stated that the collaboration would help create future-ready leaders within the organisation through specialised training and industry-oriented learning modules.
Further, the programme will support leadership growth, strategic decision-making and innovation management among SAIL executives.
