Hyderabad: Telangana government rescheduled the Telangana Cabinet meeting from May 21 to May 23 and shifted the venue to the State Secretariat in Hyderabad.
Earlier, the government had planned to hold the meeting at Yadagirigutta on May 21 at 3 pm. However, officials revised the schedule because Saraswati River Anthya Pushkaralu will begin on the same day.
Later, speculation emerged that ministers might still meet at Yadagirigutta on May 23 during the Chief Minister’s visit for development programmes. However, government sources clarified that the meeting would now take place at the Secretariat. Authorities also issued fresh orders confirming the revised schedule.
Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao released the official communication regarding the changes in the Cabinet meeting arrangements.
The government is expected to take up several welfare and administrative matters during the meeting. Ministers are likely to review guidelines and eligibility norms related to the Indiramma housing scheme before its launch on June 2.
