Hyderabad: Government Advisor Mohammed Ali Shabbir said Youth Congress leadership plays a key role in shaping future leaders. He addressed the Bhiknoor Mandal Youth Congress executive meeting at SV Garden in Bhiknoor town. Moreover, he urged young leaders to fight for public issues and strengthen the party at the grassroots level.
He said many senior leaders emerged through the Youth Congress. In addition, he recalled his own political journey. He said he took part in several agitations during his Youth Congress days.
He noted that he served a month-long jail term during an Assembly protest. According to him, those struggles formed the base of his political career. He said he became a minister at the age of 32 because of that experience.
Shabbir Ali said Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy recognised the sacrifices of Youth Congress leaders. Therefore, he stressed that commitment to public causes builds a strong political future. He asked youth to stay close to people and understand their problems.
He urged them to raise their voice against corruption and anti-people policies. Furthermore, he called for forming Youth Congress committees in every village. He said organisational expansion would strengthen the party.
Youth Congress leadership emphasised at village level meetings
Shabbir Ali said the Congress party supports hardworking leaders. Consequently, he asked young workers to carry the party’s ideology and welfare agenda to the grassroots. He said youth should expand outreach in rural areas.
During the programme, leaders distributed appointment letters to newly elected mandal and town presidents. Shabbir Ali presented the letters. State Youth Congress leader Mohammed Ilyas and District Youth Congress president Madhusudan attended the event.
Mohammed Ilyas urged youth to engage actively in politics. In addition, he asked them to spread Congress ideology among people. He said organisational strength at the village level is essential.
Madhusudan instructed office-bearers to work sincerely for the party. Moreover, he encouraged them to attract more youth through expanded activities. He stressed disciplined organisational growth.
Earlier in the day, Shabbir Ali attended Indiramma housing scheme housewarming ceremonies in Rameshwarampally village. He interacted with beneficiaries during the event. He said the Congress government is implementing welfare schemes to support poor families.
He stated that the Indiramma housing scheme aims to provide dignified homes. According to him, 3,500 houses were sanctioned per Assembly constituency. He said authorities are allotting houses to eligible beneficiaries.
He added that the government seeks to improve living standards in rural areas. Therefore, it is accelerating housing construction programmes. He said the administration remains committed to housing, education, healthcare and employment support.
Shabbir Ali said people trusted the Congress party and brought it to power. Consequently, the government is working to deliver welfare-focused governance under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He urged party workers to ensure benefits reach eligible families.
Several Congress leaders, Youth Congress representatives and party workers attended the programmes in Kamareddy. They participated in both the meeting and the housing ceremonies.
