The induction programme took place under the leadership of Salam Baginwan. Hyderabad District Congress Committee President Syed Khalid Saifullah and other senior leaders attended the event. The move came days after the inauguration of the IS Sadan Division office. The party is expanding its organisational network across all 44 wards under the DCC’s jurisdiction.

Speaking at the event, Khalid Saifullah welcomed the new entrants. He said the growing support reflects rising public confidence in the Congress government led by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. Moreover, he pointed to welfare measures such as free bus travel for women, free fine rice distribution and issuance of new ration cards. He stated that these initiatives have made a visible impact in the Old City.

Khalid also thanked Assembly in-charge Boya Nagesh and Block A President Shakeel Dayani. He credited them with mobilising support and strengthening the party at the grassroots level. Therefore, he said the Congress is well placed to expand further before the civic polls.
