New organ transplant centre to expand critical care access

The organ transplant centre is expected to improve specialised treatment availability, especially for patients who rely on public healthcare. In addition, the mother milk bank will support neonatal care by providing safe nutrition to infants in need.

During the programme, the minister honoured Osmania Hospital Gastroenterology Head Dr. Madhusudan. He recently performed a successful liver transplant on an 18-month-old child, marking a key medical achievement.

Furthermore, the minister met parents of twin babies born through IVF treatment and congratulated them. Officials added that these new facilities would enhance treatment quality and strengthen healthcare delivery across Telangana.
