Congress district executive meeting held in Kamareddy

Kamareddy: Congress leaders on Tuesday stressed the need to strengthen the party organisation from the grassroots during the Congress district meeting held in Kamareddy town.

The Congress Party conducted its Political Affairs Committee meeting and district executive committee meeting at Crystal Garden in Kamareddy. TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud and government adviser Mohammed Ali Shabbir attended the programme as chief guests.

Yellareddy MLA Madan Mohan Rao, Jukkal MLA Thota Laxmi Kantha Rao, former MLA Yousuf Ali, DCC president Ale Mallikarjun and leaders of various frontal organisations also attended the event. Mandal presidents, town presidents and party workers participated in large numbers.

During the district executive committee meeting, party leaders administered the oath to newly appointed district executive members, mandal presidents and town presidents. Leaders also distributed appointment letters and asked office-bearers to work collectively to strengthen the Congress organisation.

Mohammed Ali Shabbir said the Congress should expand its organisational strength from the village level. He urged leaders and workers to avoid internal differences and work together to connect with the public.

He asked party workers to ensure that welfare and development schemes introduced by the Telangana government reached every household. Shabbir Ali also said the Congress aimed to raise public issues before the government and work towards resolving them.

Congress district meeting focuses on organisational strength

Mahesh Kumar Goud said the new executive committee should actively strengthen the party across villages, mandals and towns. He asked party cadre to create awareness about government welfare schemes among the public.

He said the Congress government’s development programmes should help strengthen public trust in the party. He also assured workers that the party leadership would remain accessible to all members.

Yellareddy MLA Madan Mohan Rao said coordinated efforts by workers would further strengthen the Congress across Kamareddy district. He urged leaders to maintain regular contact with the public and help eligible beneficiaries access welfare schemes.

Jukkal MLA Thota Laxmi Kantha Rao said the Congress had grown through the sacrifices of party workers. He urged newly appointed leaders to take the party’s ideology to the people and work with unity.

Former DCC president Kailas Srinivas Rao, Library Chairman Chandrakanth Reddy, town president A Sandeep and Municipal Chairperson Ippa Umarani Srinivas also attended the Congress district meeting.
