Shabbir Ali condoles demise of Maulana Salman Nadwi

Hyderabad: Advisor to the Telangana Government Mohammed Ali Shabbir expressed deep grief over the demise of Maulana Salman Nadwi, the renowned Islamic scholar, author and educator, who passed away in Lucknow after a brief illness.

In his condolence message, Shabbir Ali described the death of Maulana Salman Nadwi as a great loss to the Muslim community, Islamic scholarship and religious education. He said the scholar earned respect in India and abroad through his knowledge of Hadith, Islamic jurisprudence, Seerah and contemporary issues.

According to Shabbir Ali, the late scholar guided generations of students through his teaching, writings and educational initiatives. Moreover, he said the Maulana made a lasting contribution to Islamic thought and learning.

Maulana Salman Nadwi leaves lasting legacy

Shabbir Ali said the scholar’s long association with Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama reflected his lifelong commitment to education, reform and community development. In addition, he said the Maulana played a key role in establishing and guiding educational institutions.

He further described Maulana Salman Nadwi as an accomplished scholar, inspiring teacher, eloquent speaker and fearless voice on issues concerning the Muslim world. Therefore, he said his legacy would continue to inspire future generations.

Shabbir Ali conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, students, followers and admirers of the late scholar. Finally, he prayed that Allah grants him maghfirat, elevates his ranks in Jannatul Firdaus and gives strength to his family and followers to bear the irreparable loss.
