Hyderabad: PACS chairmen appointments were made in several Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies in the Kamareddy constituency on Tuesday.
Baddam Indrakaran Reddy was appointed chairman of the Rameshwarapalli PACS in Bikkanoor mandal. Chittedi Sudhakar Reddy was named chairman of the Anthampalli PACS.
Ananth Reddy was appointed chairman of the Domakonda PACS. Nousilal Naik took charge as chairman of the Machareddy PACS.
The newly appointed chairmen met government adviser Mohammed Ali Shabbir and expressed their gratitude. They thanked him for trusting them with the responsibilities.
Shabbir congratulated the new chairmen on their appointments. He asked them to focus on farmer welfare and strengthen cooperative societies.
He also urged them to ensure farmers receive government schemes, loans, fertilisers and seeds in a transparent manner. Further, he stressed the need to address farmers’ problems quickly.
PACS chairmen appointments bring focus on farmer services
Shabbir said PACS should serve as more than lending institutions. He said they should become key centres for farmers’ economic development and agricultural growth.
He asked the new chairmen to identify farmers’ difficulties and bring them to the attention of officials. They should also take steps to ensure timely solutions.
The PACS chairmen appointments also carry a focus on transparency and accountability. Shabbir asked the societies to provide equal services to all farmers.
He gave special emphasis to small and marginal farmers. He urged the new chairmen to ensure that such farmers receive the benefits of government support.
Later, Shabbir felicitated the newly appointed PACS chairmen and extended his wishes to them. The chairmen said they would discharge their responsibilities effectively.
They also said they would work for the welfare and development of farmers in their respective areas.
Library chairman Chandrakanth Reddy, Youth Congress state leader Mohammed Iliyas and Congress mandal presidents participated in the programme.
Other party leaders, former public representatives, sarpanches, cooperative society representatives and Congress workers also attended the event.
The participants included Pata Raju, Asha Poyin Srinivas, Nagannagari Narender Reddy, Balyala Sudarshan, former MPP Gaal Reddy, Tirumal Goud and Kamareddy town president Aireni Sandeep.
Sutari Ramesh, Ganesh Naik, Shyam Reddy, Baga Reddy, Iron Narasayya, Santhosh Reddy, Madhu, Saleem, Sanjeeva Reddy Mana, Pamula Limbadri, Dayakar Reddy, Dumpala Mohan Reddy and Bansilal were also present.
