Shabbir Ali calls for scientific thinking at children’s science exhibition in Kamareddy

Kamareddy: Senior Congress leader Mohammad Ali Shabbir on Wednesday stressed the need to promote scientific thinking among students. He was speaking at the inauguration of the 53rd State-level children’s science exhibition in Kamareddy.

The event was held at Vidya Niketan School and included an INSPIRE project display. During his address, Shabbir Ali said students must develop interest in science from a young age. According to him, early exposure builds creativity and confidence.

Moreover, he said such exhibitions help students uncover hidden talent. He added that innovation-driven thinking among children would shape India’s future development.

The exhibition showcased student projects on sustainable agriculture and water conservation. In addition, models focused on green energy and plastic alternatives. Students also presented projects on mathematics, health, hygiene and environmental protection.

Meanwhile, Zaheerabad MP Suresh Kumar Shetkar said research and innovation remained vital for national progress. He highlighted the impact of INSPIRE projects in developing a scientific mindset. Furthermore, he said proper guidance could help rural students achieve national recognition.

Shetkar also urged students to use educational opportunities offered by the Central Government. He encouraged them to develop solutions that benefit society.

Meanwhile, several public representatives attended the programme. These included MLC Sripal Reddy, former DCC president Kaila Srinivasa Rao and Library Chairman Maddi Chandrakant. Congress leaders, officials, teachers and parents were also present.

Finally, organisers said the INSPIRE project, run by the Department of Science and Technology, aims to promote scientific exploration among schoolchildren across India.
