Hyderabad: The Telangana government has formalised the TOMCOM Career Consultz MoU to expand ethical overseas employment opportunities for the State’s youth through skill development, language training and structured international placements.
Labour, Employment, Training & Factories and Mines Minister Dr. G. Vivek Venkatswamy, who also chairs the Telangana Overseas Manpower Company Limited (TOMCOM), handed over the Memorandum of Understanding to Career Consultz on Tuesday.
The agreement was signed by TOMCOM Managing Director A. Nirmala Kanthi Wesley, IAS, and Career Consultz Chief Executive Officer Meneni Rohith Rao.
Under the partnership, Career Consultz will support candidate identification, career counselling, language training, interview preparation, documentation, visa processing, overseas placements and post-arrival assistance.
Initially, the collaboration will focus on employment opportunities in Japan, Germany, South Korea, Finland, Italy and Norway.
TOMCOM Career Consultz MoU targets global workforce
The government said TOMCOM continues to connect skilled youth with quality international employment through workforce development programmes and global partnerships.
Furthermore, the TOMCOM Career Consultz MoU seeks to strengthen ethical recruitment and improve international workforce mobility for candidates from Telangana.
Career Consultz said it would work closely with TOMCOM to prepare job seekers for overseas careers while promoting transparent and responsible recruitment practices.
Both organisations expressed confidence that the partnership would create new global career opportunities for thousands of young people in Telangana.
Manakondur MLA Kavvampally Satyanarayana attended the programme. TOMCOM General Manager Nagabharathi, officers Shabana and Anil, Japanese delegate Sayuri Matsuno, and senior officials from Career Consultz were also present.
