Noida: ACES India and Reliance Jio signed a 25-year agreement to provide 4G and 5G connectivity at Noida International Airport.
The partnership will establish long-term digital infrastructure across the airport. It will cover passenger terminals, operational areas and outdoor locations.
ACES India will deploy an integrated In-Building Solutions network along with outdoor telecom infrastructure. Together, these systems will support mobile services across the airport.
The network will serve passengers, airport stakeholders and daily operations. It will also support the rising use of connected devices, digital applications and mobile services.
Moreover, the 25-year agreement will provide a long-term framework for the airport’s connectivity needs. The infrastructure can also support changing operational requirements as the airport develops.
Dr. Akram Aburas, Group CEO, ACES, said connectivity had become an integral part of modern airport infrastructure. He said it supported both passenger services and airport operations.
“Our partnership with Reliance Jio at Noida International Airport reflects the importance of building a strong connectivity foundation that can support the airport over the long term,” he said.
Mohammad N. Mazher, Managing Director, ACES India, said technology and connectivity would play an important role at the developing aviation hub.
He said the partnership combined infrastructure and connectivity capabilities to support the airport’s plans. He also described the project as an important neutral-host infrastructure deployment.
5G connectivity to support a growing airport ecosystem
Meanwhile, the 5G connectivity network will create a shared platform for multiple airport stakeholders. It will support passenger services, operations and outdoor areas.
The infrastructure will also address the growing demand for mobile and digital services. In addition, its design will allow the network to adapt as airport requirements change.
ACES India said the project would reinforce its role in neutral-host connectivity infrastructure. Such systems can support multiple stakeholders through a shared connectivity platform.
The company provides indoor and outdoor connectivity solutions for large and high-traffic environments. Its work covers airports, metros, commercial developments and other dense locations.
