Hyderabad: GHMC Prajavani petitions totalled 179 across the city on December 15, officials said after reviewing representations submitted at the headquarters and in six zones.
At the GHMC headquarters, officials received 47 grievances during the Prajavani programme. Citizens flagged a range of civic issues, which officials formally recorded and forwarded to the concerned departments for follow-up action, the civic body said.
Across the six GHMC zones, residents submitted another 132 representations on the same day. Kukatpally zone recorded the highest number with 67 submissions, followed by Secunderabad zone with 25 and Serilingampally zone with 18.

LB Nagar zone received 14 complaints, while Charminar zone recorded seven submissions. Khairatabad zone reported the lowest count, with just one grievance filed during the programme.
Additional Commissioners Raghu Prasad, Subhadra Devi and Satyanarayana, along with Chief Engineer Ratnakar and Housing Chief Engineer Nithyanandam, attended the programme and reviewed the grievances.
