New Delhi: The Income Tax Act 2025 outreach programme in the capital highlighted key reforms and provisions for educational institutions and charitable trusts.
The Income Tax Department organised the event and brought together representatives from over 80 schools across Delhi–NCR. In addition, trustees and institutional functionaries joined the programme. The initiative aimed to spread awareness and improve financial literacy.

Key reforms and transparency measures explained
Pallavi Agarwal addressed the gathering and explained the new provisions. She said the Act simplifies procedures and reduces ambiguities. Moreover, it promotes transparency through technology-driven systems.
She added that these reforms align with the vision of “Viksit Bharat 2047.” As a result, institutions can expect easier compliance and clearer guidelines.

The organisers also conducted an inter-school quiz titled “Tax Your Brain – Income Tax Quiz.” Students from Classes IX to XII participated with enthusiasm. They competed across multiple rounds and demonstrated strong knowledge.
Organisers awarded winning teams with certificates and prizes. At the same time, they appreciated all participants for their efforts.
